I love the pics of the ww2 international trucks. They are a close second to me behind the dodge trucks.
Hopefully when I finish the wc12 I'm working on, an international m5h6 6x6 will be next.

That they were, but unfortunately they had old school cabs with metal panelling over ash frames. I looked at one years ago which was cosmetically fine, but the cab was about to blow away in the wind, time, rot, woodworm, whatever.

If you're going to buy one, check the cab.

Many of the heavy trucks of the thirtys used wood as filler in door pillars and general cab construction.

I have a nice set of doors and windshield foe old Betty, where ever she is. I'll guess that it only had a few hundred miles on it in that photo. It looks like it had little rest. Driving on wet beech sand is a hard life.
