I love the pics of the ww2 international trucks. They are a close second to me behind the dodge trucks.
Hopefully when I finish the wc12 I'm working on, an international m5h6 6x6 will be next.

The 7 1/2 Ton Reo/Biedermans were a lot of truck.

That they were, but unfortunately they had old school cabs with metal panelling over ash frames. I looked at one years ago which was cosmetically fine, but the cab was about to blow away in the wind, time, rot, woodworm, whatever.RANGER wrote:The 7 1/2 Ton Reo/Biedermans were a lot of truck.

Many of the heavy trucks of the thirtys used wood as filler in door pillars and general cab construction.

I have a nice set of doors and windshield foe old Betty, where ever she is. I'll guess that it only had a few hundred miles on it in that photo. It looks like it had little rest. Driving on wet beech sand is a hard life.
