What are little trucks made of?
What are little trucks made of?
Steel and rubber, and a tarpaulin cover...
That's what little trucks are made of.

Poem from one of the WWII editions of Army Motors.

The USA Registration is now TM9 Blue Drab courtesy of TM9 Ordnance. The Rear Window Screen from John Gott has been installed, A missing Thumb Screw for the Windshield has been installed. Note the NOS Firewall Pad that Mark Norman generously gave me. Mark has 3 of the best restored SWB CCKWs in the USofA, he also dipped into his private stash to give me the NOS Rubber Gas Pedal and a zillion other parts-he would not take any payment. The cab was given to me free of charge by Kevin Kronlund, Greg Wolanin would not take a nickle for transporting it along with equipment he had shipped from Army Cars USA. Eric Kosalko, one of the gang at Mil Spec graciously painted the name and Ranger Insignia of my Uncle Joe, WWII RANGER, he was "Big Joe" and I was "Little Joe". Bob Rubino restored the cab, Jim Gilmore painted it, and installed the fibreglass headliner. Paul Veins, TM9 Ordnance also helped in the painting. The paint on the cab was an exact match to the 16 year old paint job.The guys at Mil Spec are great guys and friends, Bob, Jim, and Eric offered to drive 1200 miles round trip to come up just to lift the cab on for me. Eric paints names and pictures on A-2 Jackets, Bob Rubino was "Best Man" at Erics' wedding, the Bride and Groom were driven to the reception in Bobs' CCKW.

The Licence plate reads "GI JOE" as do the the plates on my other vehicles, including my MBT

OLD FRIENDS ARE THE BEST FRIENDS!
Thank you gang for making the project possible.
