VC VF tow hooks?

I have a set of tow hooks that I took off of a 39 dodge 1 1/2 ton. They are real similar to standard dodge 1/2 ton hooks except the bottom side is not completely flat. The front inch or so is about 1/8-3/16 inch indented to sit on top of the bumper if I remember right.
The reason I bring this up is I am wondering if they might fit a VC or VF truck? I dont know. They are rather pitted, but I blasted and primed them for now. I cant read the numbers on them.
Anybody know?
George

Standard non-winch hooks.

I've only ever seen two type, the winch type where the base if flat, and the non-winch type where it has a step to go over the bumper edge.

I know the parts list shows several numbers, but all the VCs i've had or seen just came with the standard hooks.

Anyone have any different examples?

I'm guessing you got that backwards? My non winch has flat bottomed hooks and all my non winch trucks have the same. I dont have a winch model to look at.
Guess they are nothing too out of the ordinary.
Thanks

Could be just old age :D

I'm sue I put flat bottomed hooks onto winch trucks, but no matter,

Don't think I've ever seen another variety.

if you check Bart's VF404 restoration, you will see the proper type for them installed...I am currently looking for a set for the VF405 being restored.

I tossed them on ebay and they sold to Italy. I was finally able to read the numbers and they were correct for some of the VC trucks.
