CCKW fact of life

There comes a day when old age creeps in and makes it difficult to ingress and egress (fancy words for get in and get out) the Open Cab CCKW. My favorite WWII Veteran passenger for the parades is now approaching that milestone. He will now be using the boarding ladder that is kept with the truck in order to use the troop seats. It is a lot easier on his knees. The Closed Cab CCKW is a lot easier to get in and out of.
