Hi All:

I have just finished a run of ten Ben Hur rear light brackets; they are copies of one loaned to me by a friend, removed from his all-steel model. It is different than a repro I bought, and different from another I saw in a picture.

Anyone who has or can get reasonable detail pics of brackets showing front and top views, please post here or send to: krjohnsonwc1_at_verizon.net

I can't post pics here anymore as I have filled my max quota, but in a few days I will be able to send pics I have to any requestors.

Ken, the steel trailers use a completly different bracket than the wooden trailers. The steel trailer brackets are stamped sheet metal while the wooden trailers are bent bar stock. The sheet metal ones work on either side while the bar stock are mirror images and there are righties and lefties.

how do these compare to the Ben Hur Water Buffalo brackets?

The few water trailers I have seen had the stamped steel brackets same as the steel trailers. I have also seen one that had a rather crude folded sheet metal bracket that had a welded reinforcement. I think that was a manufacturer specific bracket.
