I am in search of the measurements of the map board that is found on the WC 51, passenger side under dash.
Have the brackets, but am not sure of the size of it. Thus the request for help.
Thanks to all in advance!

Unfortunately, I am not able to attach photos but have e-mailed the mesage below to several folks. Hope this helps.
MAP BOARD
Attached photos are of bottom of reproduction map board . It fits into slides on the truck (WC-63) and is the same as other Dodges.
Dimensions
13-7/8 inches wide
13-3/4 inches long
Finger groove (centered)
¾ inch from end
¾ inch wide (inner cut 1-1/2 inches from end)
3 inches long with a 5 inch radius (was cut with a 10 inch diameter radial arm saw
End notch
7/8 inch from left side (viewed from top)
3/8 inch deep
3 inches long
Side notches
15/16 inch from end
3/8 inch deep tapering to 0 at 1-3/4 inches from end
Materials
Original map board was 5 ply but I could not locate a source of this type so used 6 ply exterior grade, cabinet quality (no knots) with water-proof glue

GTBGuy:
Now are these boards all the same on all WC's? I do have one in the Beast, and will check to see if it's the same (someday). Thanks for the info.
Bob:
Some of us like to make our own stuff, and not spend extra cash, however, sometimes it ends up costing more to do it yourself.

WC map board
Thank you so very much!
Can now get to work on one of the smaller items on the WC. Have a feeling that after the map board, the troop seats will not be far behind
Have the tools out, so why not put them to good use!
Thanks again!
