Judging from David Doyle's GMC Walk Around Book, Army Motors Articles, Military Vehicles Magazine, the MVPA National Convention and the SWB in my barn there are some quality CCKW restorations. There are too many to list. CCKW owners are a reserved bunch and do not post many pics.
Did you know that there were more CCKW's in WWII than Jeeps?

Joel,
I remember the figure 577,000 for MB/GPW production. What were the actual production figures of the CCKW?

How about 562,750 CCKW's between Oct 1940 and August, 1945?
Close enough. There were less CCKW's, but the amount was still significant.
I believe there were actually 637,700+ MB/GPW Jeeps.

Don't give up on your truck keep plugging away, put some OD on it, it will make you want to finish it.
