Try hood number W-261608

I have calcualted hood numbers for you:
51 2247660
52 2270080

Do you know the body tag numbers for these trucks as well?

Thank You for the Hood numbers, but I'll keep the WC52 in the austrian army style, its been rebuilt in 1953 in the Karlsfeld Ordonance depot anyway, but I'm thinking about painting the WC51 in the original way.

The body tag on the WC 52 is missing, but the number on the WC51 is 4290-130297

the number of the WC52 wreck is 4290-157124

Well, it appears your truck is an early 43 and the rego is for a late 42...but but both are borderline so who knows?

Unless the 51's body tag number is missing a digit, the body is an early 43 and the chassis a 45
The 56 is a late March 43 production and I suggest a registration number of 20471233 if you need one.

Got my build card today, please add information to database.
Ser # 81627361
Build Date Feb 15 1943
Engine # T214-91598
Body Tag # 4249-8445
Since my carryall was built in the last contract of 465 I wondered how
the original body tag screwed to the front door frame was so low 4249-1289.
Were body tags switched during post war norwegian rebuilds ?.Were can I find
or who makes repro zinc body tags. Regards Joe

Norweggian rebuilders committed many forms of heracy...putting older bodies on later chassis. I have noticed that the '42 bodies seem to have better survived the ravages of time (perhaps they used cheaper body steel beginning in '43)

Hola Divin,

I need your help.

I have a friend in Mexico, which has a WC-54, nº 815 62 766. I think the car will be 22 of august 1942, + -1 week.

You could confirm the date and tell me the number of hood, please?.

I'll tell him to request a photocopy of B.C.

Thank you very much,

B.R. Juan15

I think the date sounds about right, a hood number would be about 712084 +or-50
