Give me the body tag and I'll try to figure it out. Norweggians were fond of early bodies on later chassis' however...

I have calculated/SWAGGED the following for you:
WC54 726180
WC56 W-20168888
WC64 743482

There is something wrong with the serial number for the 53, can you recheck?

Okay.... having just done a clear out of some of my book shelves I came across some print-outs from 2005 of a Dodge Database from the website 'Powerup.com.au'....

Having compared them with this 'master database' there are a number that aren't on your d'b.... so.... I have written them out below for possible inclusion???

81532830 WC55 6019888
81535987 WC51 252763
81567223 WC54 719045 (different reg. no to your d'base...)
81573216 WC56 20165182 (different reg. no to your d'base..)
81574902 WC53 20165295
81581009 WC53 USN-232537 (diff reg. no??)
81586366 WC56 USN-129561 delivered 8/Dec/42
81598668 WC51 287208
81620911 WC56 20179603
81620934 WC54 710156 (diff reg. no??)
81621397 WC53 209007
81622615 WC56 20179988
81622888 WC56 20180058 delivered Jan 43
81624990 WC54 718886 (diff reg. no??)
81630767 WC57 ??? delivered 9th Mar 43
81640940 WC52 2187117
81642411 WC52 ??? delivered 22nd Mar 43
81651639 WC52 ??? delivered 2nd July 43
81691251 WC56 20460672 1944
81698821 WC51 ??? delivered 20th Mar 1944
81699762 WC51 2235404 delivered 31st Dec 43?

So... that is a possible 16 extra to add to the list and perhaps 5 with info updates (or your info may be more recent??) Not a bad trawl??

Hope this helps....

okey-dokey..... not sure about the following as have found them on the web with chassis serial numbers I'm not familiar with - but then I'm not familiar with 62's & 63's either!!!

Here goes....

82003766 WC63 3329520 no date given
82023733 WC62 no reg given Oct 1944
82027781 WC63 3338658 27th Dec 1943
82030532 WC63 no reg given 13th Dec 1943
82034542 WC63 3342321 15th Mar 1944
82037931 WC63 3337155 17th Nov 1944

Again, these are from an .au website so not sure how old or how accurate??

Could be good to add though?

not to be too slopey shoulders about it, but.... I am not a wc62/63 owner and suggest this might be better managed by someone who has this particular interest......

Anyone out there able to take this database for 62/63's over???????

Don't mind continuing to help with the 51/52/53/54/55's, etc.....

Off to Normandy on Monday for 5 days with the family (not in the WC as it currently has no rear axle attached!!!!) - will see what I can find and report back!

Tootle-pip....

52 2270080

Do you know the body tag numbers for these trucks as well?

I have WC-51 frame number of 81560119. It was overhauled after the war and the body tag on the cowl does not match the build card I got from the Chrysler archives (I assume the cab was swapped). According to the build card, my original body number was 17557, the engine number was T214-31790, and it was built Aug. 7, 1942. The hood number is long gone.
Thanks,
Joe
