Chevy 4x2 1/2 ton G 612
Anyone have any info about these trucks? Such as the difference between a civ. truck and a military one. Can I make one out of a civ. truck?

The military truck was basically identical to the civil version except for:
- different and heavier front bumper (very difficult to find...)
- bed with extra hooks on the side to have the canvas cover attached
- wider 15in artillery wheels
- standard blackout lights in the rear
- tow hook under front bumper
- brass data plate on glove box
This pickup is a civil model, it lacks the bumper and the wheels, still it looks great. The miulitary version had a chrome grill though.
