Converto Dump Trailer

Hello,

I've got a Converto trailer in nice condition for the MB. :D
The little trailer will get a complete restoration in the next weeks, the original Lunette Eye and the stanchion will be replaced, the welded catches on the sides will be removed. New or better tires, sandblasting and new painting.
Does anybody know where the frame number, if existent, is located?
Is it possible to get a identification plate as a good original reproduction?

Greetings,
Stephan

Hello,

thank you all for the kind words and the Links, of course. :)

MPMB45, is it possible that you can take me a picture from the lunette mounting and how it is welded at the top of the frame?

Yes, I would like the Converto to the list, but I still don't know the year of construction and the Frame/Registration number. I only know, that there were no taillights and no wirering at any time. Is it right, that Converto's don't have a stamped Frame-number?

Greetings,
Stephan

Yeah no problem ... Give me a day or so and I'll take a few pics and post them for you - I see a few things you might need pics of and yes "No frame numbers" - only the front data plate.

Hello,
here a intermediate result:
the trailer got a new paint, a replaced stanchion, the ball-hitch is gone. It also got Good-Year tires in good condition, still with wrong rims, the combat-rims will be mounted next week. Also, the markings are missing.

Greetings,
Stephan
