The footman double (buckle) stlye footman loop I believe is for 1/2 ton ambulances and early (prototype) 3/4 tons. I believe the double would only be appropriate on a 3/4 ton if you have the tall rear storage boxes. I used to have a vintage pic of a 3/4 ton with this configuration, along with 1/2 ton style bumperettes, but lost it in a hard-drive crash. Anyone know of or have this pic?
I'd also be interested in a link to the TM and or pictures from it if anyone can share or post that document.

Thanks Brian;

Someone told me that the later ambulances just had the one on the spare tire bracket next to the floor to secure the other end of the stretcher. Don't knw if that is true or not.

Beachwood canvas does have the Footmans Loops. I just looked on thier Website. They also have the Straps that Hang from the Celing to Support the upper Stetchers. Does anyone have the Brackets for the Footmans Loops? Or the Brackets that hold the Upper Stretchers?

What Parts are those Ernest? The Brackets that are Fastened to the Roof? or something else? I have the Brackets that are fastened to the Roof. I need the brackets that are Fastened to the Wall and Hold the Stretchers as well as the Brackets that the Footmans Loops go through.

the litter straps that Beachwood offers are basically open cab door safety straps. WeeBee webbing sells the correct litter straps which have a open hook on the end to attach to the roof bracket.

Wofen,

I'll have to check what I have, I know the there may be a set of wall brackets, but not the one that mounts to the spare tire, rugs got the last one from me. I do not understand "brackets the footman loops attach to" The footman loops attach to the tool boxes on the WC-54, I'm missing something?

I drove to Richmond Indiana (Wayne Works) last summer to look for anything ambulance related. I discovered that what was left from the company had been donated to the local historical museum. The museum staff was kind enough to let me look through all of the boxes of old documents and photos. Sorry to say there wasn't much there. I even talked to an elderly gentleman that worked on the assembly line. All he could remember was that they cranked 'em out pretty good.
