IIRC there are two different gaskets that have 2 different patterns to accommodate the carb/gov mating.

Ref: AM Nov 1942

Why buy a gasket? Get a roll of gasket material and use the old trick of making one. Just as good, maybe a little more time consuming, but that's how they did in the Army cira 1940's. Why spend $10+ for a gasket when you can get a whole roll of gasket material for $5 and make just about every gasket on the truck.

Oh wait, I forgot, we lesser CCKW owners are incapable of any type of maintenance on our trucks. DARN IT. I better take the water pump off the old 270 becuase that gasket I make will probably blow the truck up when need it the most.
