Re: INTERNATIONAL M-2-4
Hiya Tony,
Some time ago, you sent me a photo of a group of Marines in a M-2-4 driving through an avenue of tall Palm Trees. I thought the photo was really great.
The computer where the photo was stored quit running and I've lost the photo.
Anyway you could re-send.
Thanks...Paul

Hi Tony,
Yes, that's the one. Great photo, thanks.
Does that look like a .50 cal in the bed?

Re: INTERNATIONAL M-2-4
Just joined and am in the process of restoring an m-2-4.
Bought one of the Tv show "Rat Patrol" trucks thinking it was a legitimate North Africa truck. Found out it was a chopped up m-2-4 with a vickers modified to shoot propane.
I got a parts truck with all I am missing and have the frame and running gear all done.
I need to find the fold down windshield.
Wish I knew how to attach pictures so I could post them.

Hi Paul,
This is "Spooner" from Binder Forum. I posted regarding your seats. This is probably the best forum you will ever find to post photos from your computer as long as you know how to reduce the image size.

Re: INTERNATIONAL M-2-4
Approximately 10000 International M-2-4's were built. A high proportion of those were open-cab built for the USMC.
This is #1648, DOD 9/4/1942, one of 1000 built with a 6 volt system and a Tulsa winch. Most had a 12 volt system and a Braden MU2 winch.

Re: INTERNATIONAL M-2-4
Thank you guys!
I have an e-mail out for the windshield.
My truck also has the Tulsa winch so I am assuming it is an earlier 1940's one. My parts truck has the Braden winch.
Does any one know when the started to the change away from the Tulsa winch?
I am still trying to date my truck. The data Plate is missing.
Just got out of thr hospital so need a couple of days of rest before I strat back in.
Spooner thank you for posting my pictures.
