1939 Color movie, U.S. Army.

An interesting 1939 home movie, in color, with some nice shots of pre war U.S. Army vehicles. I should note, this is a link to the Society of the Military Horse Forum, where I posted the link to the film.

Thanks for the reference Pat.
There are two of Colonel Dockum's colour home movies on that site - both with good shots of inter-war period trucks/equipment.
I wonder what happened to all those pre-war staff and command cars etc. Probably cut up during WW2 scrap metal drives?

I really wonder what happened to the prewar stuff too. Around here, where surplus military vehicles remained popular for a good 40 years after the war, I think I've only seen one truck I could identify as a prewar truck in use.
