CCKW ope mperature

A 1ree F thermostat is recommend by GMC for the CCKW, do not operate without a thermostat. A Water Bypass Tube between the rear of the Cylinder Head and the Thermostat Housing was incorporated on CCKW encines after sometime in 1942t has something to do with the placement of the Temperature Guage Bulb being at the top of the Cylinder Head, and an air pocket forming after water circulation ceases. No big deal
