CCKW Fuel Line Leak at the Carburetor Elbow?
This can be an easy fix fe Compression Fitting Nut at the Elbow, and still have a drip. The Compression Sleeve(Ferrule) irtightening. I used a "erhead Part No. 69X was purchased at my Weatherhead Dealer It comes with a Nut and Compression Sleeve (ferrule). The Elbow is for 5/16" tubing and has a Male 1/8" Pipe Thread where it enters the Ca on top of a 6X6 manifold.
I learned to do this stuff in the Army, and must say I was quite good at it, the Army thought so too and rewarded me.

Just thought it was time to bring this topic up again, it is a common problem as the ferrule gets distorted after 60+ years of professional and back yard mechanics.

Still a good fix, it works and allows your CCKW to look original under the hood.

This is always a timely tip for CCKW owners with original fuel line fittings at the Carburetor. One of the more useful ones, don't you think?
