The Chevrolet 1 1/2 ton dump also came with a winch in a percentage of them. I had one and the PTO had a shaft coming out back and front with full control over either drive. It is a little more complex than just putting an extended through shaft in.
The gearbox bolt pattern is standard SAE and I think the gears will mate up OK. The only difference between the Chev and Dodge might be the depth so you may have to play with shims to get the PTO gears mating nicely with the gearbox.
I have put a Chevrolet CMP gearbox compressor on my Dodge WC53 Carryall and all that was needed was a shim about 1/4" thick to push the unit away from the box to get the gears to mesh. The compressor and PTO have the same gears hence my belief that the more readily obtainable Chev double PTO will fit your Dodge.
