Here is a Ranger test question. Does nayone know what Lubriplate #115 is used for? I found out during my PM on my Diamond T.

I give a free pint of it along whenever I sell a NOS part that uses it. (I don'tt know about the free thing as it always costs me more for the 115 everytime I replace it.) No good MV owner should be without it, if your LO calls for it.

Not suggesting that this is the only use, but quoting the Lubriplate literature, "LUBRIPLATE No. 115 is the ideal water pump lubricant".

Are there other uses as well?

And applications calling for waterproof grease.
Check the applicable LO.

Well I knew Ranger would know its application purpose and Retro Rocco is correct. You place it in the grease cup and turn it once per day, per the TM

I have a 1 Pint can of AMOCO Cup Grease that I use for my GMC Distributor. Has been in family for 50 years. In its day it was proper for all grease cups, including waterpumps. Lubriplate 115 is exactly what you would use on a waterpump wit grease cup today, and it is just fine for distributors with cups.
LUBRIPLATE also makes another grease suitable for Cups other than Waterpumps, it is 630AA.
I use it on door strikers, contact areas on brake backing plates, clutch pilots, etc.
