Not all US WWII 6X6 Trucks used a Pillow Block with separate propeller shafts for each rear axle assembly. The 4 Ton, 6 Ton and 7 1/2 Ton 6X6 Trucks had Double Reductions that were driven through a single propeller shaft from the transfer case.
One 6X6 had a Chain Drive System for the rear axles.
The 2 1/2 Ton GMC, Studebaker and International 6X6 6X4 trucks had the two separate propeller shafts, and the M-8/M-20 Armored Car also had the dual propeller shafts.
AND;
You can add the Willys MT-TUG, Dodge WC 6X6, DUKW, AND M-133 Korean era GMCs to the list.
