What is unique about the original CCKW Open Cab Doors is that the framewowk can be recovered to go on the other side. It is a lot of work as one hinge does not match. Between Judith at New Life and Russ Jones who made the hinge, the other door became a reality, Russ and I each ended up with a set of perfect doors that we can be proud of . Cost was approx $175 to make over for one door. It was worth it as it would take possible years to wait for a matching NOS GI Issue door to show up.
Making the doors from scratch is not possible as some of the hardware would be very expensive to fabricate, especially the stiffners, and latches.
