NOS DODGE T-223 WC 62/WC/ 63 TRANSFER CASE-RARE

Post by RANGER »

New in factory cosmoline. The rare WWII 6X6 WC Transfer Case is unique because of its low range gear ratio.
$1000.00 plus shipping. Will ship overseas, but the customer will have to make all arrangements for shipping.

It's a long ride to California or I would bid it. They are a good seller. I also have a NOS T-223 Engine assy that I may sell.

Hi Ranger;
a lot of people do want these because of the split ratio between high and low range, You can actually get 8 true different speeds out of a 1 1/2.
where as in an M37 or Power wagon the ratio is much closer, and if i remember correctly you only get 6 true different speeds out of them.

They have been the dodge transfer of choice since the M-37 people discovered the difference.
French Gov't rebuilt US Army Truck components has been a crap shot for years. There is something lacking in quality control on their work that has resulted in much disappointment. Many of the 50s-70s surplus dealers will attest to this. Sarafans and other large surplus dealers got many a bum wrap for selling junk that was not their fault.

TRhe French Rebuilt went for $450.00, customer pick up only.
Beware of someof French ERGMA labeled Gov't Rebuilds, they have a history of shoddy work, many items are built up using worn out of tolerance parts.
There were many ERGMA parts sold here in the US in the 60s-80s that were junk. MB Tranmissions, T-214 Dodge engines with worn pistons, CCKW transmissions with dad parts, and the recent unused 270 in Indiana that was rusted solid with a cracked block.
