M-1 GAS ALARM.
They are carried by a designated Gas NCO, and are "U" shaped like a chime. They are equipped with a striker that causes a dull unmistakeable sound amongst all the noises of war.
I have this rare item in NOS Unissued condition, they would be proper to carry on your saddle or up front in your Armored Car.
