Re: Seat measurements
My front seat on the back rest appears to be bent at the gussets. Can anybody verify?

Re: Seat measurements
It does look a little bent.
I wish I had a middle seat frame. I have the back seat but it’s very rusty and I will just use it as a pattern to fab a replacement.

Re: Seat measurements
I believe Midwest Military made reproduction middle seats at one time, perhaps they would share the measurements.

Re: Seat measurements
I have a middle but buried inside my carryall under boxes and tarps. I possibly can get to it but would have to dig. What measurements do you exactly need. Zephyr maybe able to help if he checks here.
All right they're on our left they're on our right they're in front of us they're behind us they can't get away this time

I know B,it’s 8 7/16”
I think A is 22”
I need C, D, and E.
E is the ID between the front and back rails.
C and D the ID between each bottom rails and the side rails.

Re: Seat measurements
Nice fit on the sheet metal, no gaps at all. Do you need to trim the bottom?

Re: Seat measurements
Yes, I still need to trim the bottom. Adam I have a question for you, well two questions. First, is your jump seat bottom the same pattern as the drivers seat? Meaning the little radius bevels at each end? Second, how ruff is your rear seat? Any way you could get a picture of it? Are the little keyholes the same distance apart on the rear seat compared to the middle? I’m in seat mode at the moment. I have two sets for the front, one really good, one set not so much. Then the basket case middle, however I think the patterns are the same for middle and rear with the rear being wider.
I need to get a 3” and a 5.5” CLR die sets for my bender. Add those two dies to my 3.5 and I have the three sizes to make the remaining 12 seats.
Anyway if you have a picture of your rear seat I would love to pick your brain on some measurements.
Thanks James

Re: Seat measurements
I’m not sure what you mean by radius bevels at each end; end of what? But here is a pic of both seats:
And I will take some pictures of both tomorrow.

Re: Seat measurements
I modified both the drivers and jump seat frames by welding a couple of straps across the bottom, front to back. This is because I eliminated the seat springs and went with foam cushions on a plywood base. The bolts go thru the plywood and into the straps.
My rear seat frame however still has the springs, but they are in poor condition. I should be able to measure the mounting distance.
