If the bottom tube were there, the inside distance would be six inches.

The flat bar is 2-1/4 wide. 10-3/4 from the far side of the bar to the inside of the tube; 8-1/2 from the inside edge of the bar, to the tube.

Anytime, happy to help.

Id be happy to pay you for a couple of reproduction floor mounting legs that were cut off my rear seat; you could obviously make them better than I can.

I have my dies for my bender ordered, when I get my 3” I’ll make and send you a pair for your troubles. They say 3-5 weeks. I’ll keep posting updates as I go and get you a set made.
