Dodge intake manifold help

Looking to get help with intake manifold identification. It is on my Dodge WC-26 1941 Carryall. The truck has intake manifold no: 1550205. I've been told it is not as tall as original. It is suppose to be number:870042. What would the difference make? Truck runs but it doesn't sound/run as good as my WC-12
