Hello,
as some of you already know I am interested in US WW2 wooden folding chairs.
American seating, ACME, Northern, Storkline etc.
Now I put a infopage online, for those who are interested in vintage chairs also - here is the link.
Of course I would be glad about any further information regarding these wooden chairs.

Kindest regards

It's not a subject I know anything about Sylvia, and I'm probably not alone.
Could you please post a few images of different versions so we know what to look for?
.... later
... and now I've seen your examples page link where you have done exactly that. I'll go back to sleep now.

Most common manufacturer is American Seating.
In Europe often found with this writing:
With this kind of wooden struts between the legs:
Way more rare (at least in Europe) is this early version with metal struts:
On my website there are more detailed pictures and different manufacturers shown.
I myself would be very interested in buying one Navy chair made from wood and one made from metal.
Original of course not the reproduction.
Kindest regards
Sylvia
