Loss of a friend

Post by Tony B »

I regret I have to tell all I.M.P.S. members that George Bullock has died this evening. I relaise most members of the forum won't know George, but he was a great person with a deep love and knowledge of military vehicles. He helped me a lot with my Dodge and no one could put the kettle on and make a better cup of tea when things weren't going right. Whatever your intrest in military vehicles you would have liked George. Please all spare his family a thought.

Tony:

Ditto what Brent said. Are they're gonna be any Howitzer's in that procession? They can give him a GOOD send off. My Dad had a 15 gun salute as only heads of state are entitled to the 21 guns.

Unfortunatley the local crematorium wouldn't be big enough for the guns. But I'll make bloody sure he gets a salute at one of the events. You'd have liked George, he had the right sense of humour.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Good friends leave quite an empty chair at the table when they move on.
Best regards,
Mike

Tony, Sorry to hear the news, one less follower of our hobby - these people are sorely missed from our great dedication not only because of who they were as a person but for all their knowledge. Fellow IMPS member Steve

I know I said it my phone call to you the other night but perhaps I should do it as a posting for George's family as I know he will be sadly and greatly missed by all his family and friends and members of IMPS for who did so much. It is nice to know that his mates are going to show him the respect he richly deserved by carrying his coffin on a preserved military vehicle with a courtege of others.
Please pass on the regards and symphathy of all of us in the Midlands out post of IMPs.
