NEEDED: good running 230 engine (TX area?)

need a good running 230 engine... would prefer one from a 1/2 ton wc 4x4 dodge with mated 4 speed tranny, but thats not mandatory.
getting a running 230 in good shape is my goal.
the closer to Dallas, TX the better.
I travel regulary between DFW and south OK along rt 75, so anything along the way, north texas, south OK, would be perfect!

Not Texas but at least southern US. I live in Tampa FL. I can meet you in Alabama if you would like this motor, it is a 230ci T2I4. I have it listed on the market forum with plenty of pictures.

story of my life... already found one.. albiet NOT a Dodge 214, but I got a 52 Plymouth.. I just spent a lot of time and money on it getting it right!

Now, that said, I am still looking for a good condition 1/2 ton transmission. as THIS tranny is more than likely out of a 3/4 ton dodge, perhaps of ww2 vintage, the tranny might work for me.
if you ever get a buyer for the motor, and they dont need the tranny, maybe a deal can be made on it?
did you have a price in mind on the engine and tranny combo?

I got a buddy driving to Texas next week if you want the tranny I have.
