Searching for 12v 55A Autolite dynamo repair kit...

Post by spookyfr »

Hi all,
I fully restore a WC52 with 12v system, but in France, I can't find repair kit for the dynamo (12v 55A). In SNL G-502, this kit have part number CC-1056040.
I try with VintagePowerWagon, but it's not in their catalog.
Do you have any address where I can find a kit ?(original or recent build, I don't mind)

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Alexandre.

Here is my restore page (in french sorry :oops: ) : http://wc52.over-blog.com

Hi Alexandre;

I can't help you out with a rebuild kit but in this country we have shops that specialize in rebuilding starters and generators. One of the first thiings I do upon removal I allways take the started and generator to my local shop to have them tested and rebuilt if necessary. Look around I am sure you have the same in your country.

I'm in England and use John at Midwest for all of my Dodge Parts and tech advice. Real quick delivery from the US of A to Enlgand at exceptionally good value, thanks to John and the US Dollar exchange rate!
