Thats what I would also like to know.
I'm interested in getting two NOS 1/2 ton Differentials, if possible located somewhere in Europe to save on the shipping cost but might consider Import from the US, too.

First whole day drive in 2015 with the repaired Diff, everything runs smooth

my command car was rebuilt by mercedes in the 50s. they swapped in a large, m37 style diff in the rear and left the 8 3/4 in the front. i had bob stahl install 489s front and rear, one large and one small. i also had an oversize steering box, and some other upgrades from merc. they had some great seals in the cases that were possibly metric. custom collars made these seals fit the standard bores. the sealing surfaces were blue plastic of some kind. i kept the converted yellow headlight bulbs. not stock, but i like them....

Glad you are enjoying the booklet. It sure opened my eyes as to what third members could be interchanged in the differential housings of these trucks. A lot of people don't know about the interchanges that are possible for more road speed in the 1/2 and early 3/4 ton WC's with the 8.75" third members if one wants to go that route like I did. By the way, your truck is beautiful. Looks like it just came out of the Dodge Factory.

Thanks for the update! I have a set of small 4.89 diffs in my shop, I plan on installing them in my Carryall…. Eventually.
