Too bad! Just when he was getting back on his feet too.

Let me know if can help anyone make a buy since I am only 2 1/2 hrs away. My guess is most will go to the scrappers unless MV hobby persons want to step up.

Don't know about scrap Tom
In the auction companies web page, it states items must make 2/3s appraised value...

Bought my WC26 off Jeff would love to get the WC11 too but no way I could organise that at such short notice. From the time of purchase to the time it left Jeffs place was 6 months. Its a long process exporting a non running vehicle

Hi Ernie,

That is true but we do not know who did the appraisals nor do we know the appraised figures. Most local non military vehicles appraisers are mostly going to just see a " Sea of Iron " at $250 /ton.

Many of the vehicles ( like the very ruff WC-64 ) are not even in the photos due to being in poor condition or packed in too tight to get a photo.

My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.
