I'm sure this will work on a WC54, but the fittings doesn't seem to match WC54. Also the WC54 does not have a plug, it is wired directly to the switch.
Is it possible that this spotlight is meant for some other vehicle, maybe a DUKW?

I don't know. I acquired one of these many years ago from a dealer who told me it was for my WC54. This one showed up, I don't need two, so I listed it for sale. Not very good research on my part! I'm always willing to be proven wrong on WWII stuff because there is just so much to know. If it's DUKW, that would be great as I have a friend who has one. But if that's right, now I need to find a spotlight for my WC54!

It isn't a DUKW one.
If it wasn't for the voltage I'd be pretty sure it was early Weasel. Try M29C.com John
