Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
Thanks man. I talked to my fabricator for those square brass washers for the key seat mounting. He said he could cut them to match my sample. Waiting on the second order of brass to come in. then will carry them to be cut. Will let you know.

Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
I need some input on the hood # I sanded out on the hood of the carryall. The truck ser. # is 81512402:
what I recovered on the hood is U.S.A. W-236770. Would this be correct for my truck ?

Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
Hola Phill,
Yes, it is possible.
The manufacture of the WC-21 to WC-27 models and WC-40 to WC-43, was with serial numbers 81.500.001 to 81.528.537, 1941, 28.537 units.
The manufacture of the WC-51 to WC-61 and WC-64 models, was with serial numbers 81.529.001 to 81.784195, 1942/1943.
The WC-51 model begins with W-252293.
If we do the math, military registration leave us: from W-235000 to W- 237000; so your registration is possibly correct.
Salutations, Juan.

Wow! Now that is quite the pile of sawdust. The floor looks very nice. Great work.

Re: WC-26 Carryall Restoration
Got a few more things done, still waiting on sand blaster for fenders/hood. As you can see it will not fit in the shop with the rear tires on, it will fit in the garage.

Re: Pictures
You will need sign up for a photo hosting site. Many are free like photobucket. There are others, but I don't recall the names. You can google free photo hosting sites and see what comes up. Once you are signed up on one of those you can upload your photos there and then just copy and paste the link here. A little confusing, but once you get the hang of it it is a piece of cake. PM me if you have specific questions, and I will help you out the best I can.wareagle4590 wrote:How do you post pictures here?
Thanks
