Door Handle ID

Can anyone ID this door handle - it's NOS with traces of OD paint - the only marking is "GMC" on the back of the handle:

It looks pretty much identical to the handles O had on my 1.5 ton Chevrolet K43.

I didn't realise there is a knockout pin that allowed you to pull the square drive though - that would have saved some grief. I thought they were cast in.

Thanks for the feedback.

It's obviously a driver's side handle with the provision for a lock - would it fit closed cab GMC CCKW's - did the later version of closed cab have locking doors??

As far as I know, there were no locks fitted to the later CCKW/CCWs but it may be off a civilian cab of the same era. My brother has a 1943 CCKW (originally open cab) that has been fitted with a civilian Chev cab & has locks.

As best I remember, his handles are the same as the one shown.
