Diamond T 4 ton wrecker--Stuart tank and a Few Good Marines!

Post by Steve Greenberg »

Hello,
Today the Pacific NW Chapter of the 3rd Marine Division Assoc. had a meeting in Clackamas, Or. I had my 1942 M3A1 Stuart tank and 1944 4 ton Diamond T wrecker on display for the USMC veterans.
Thanks,

That field modification to the front bumper really makes the T noticeable.

Not really a usable propostion here in UK with our fuel costs - it cost £200 (about $375) to fill up the last Diamond T wrecker I drove and that was fifteen years back....

Gordon,
I do not drive my Diamond T around too much over here. I only had to go about 5 miles from my shop. I drove it on the freeway. I forgot how slow it was! The gas here is $3.00 a gallon now.

Hi Guys
In the Netherlands gas is about 1.75$ a liter!

Very nice vehicles!! Love to be in a driving tank, sat on top of a driving Sherman last year - good fun!
