Hello, Lew- we need to see progress on you posting images, first

I recognize that you've been in the CJ2A world for decades- is this your first tear-down of a WC? If you need, I have a hoop of images that I can place on a thumb drive if you need. My Son and I tore down a 43 WC52 and rebuilt it back to about 80% now...

That would be awesome! Ya, jeeps are my knowledge base. This WC52 is MUCH bigger and all new to me. Plus parts weight a lot more!
Please let me know!

Update,
Down to bare frame. Welding up a broken and bubbfied motor mount tomorrow.
I got both front frame horns pounder straight. That was work but it came out near perfect. After the motor mount, I will haul the frame to the sand blaster.
One bite at a time!

Motor mount repairs are done. Came out great. Now to sandblast the frame.

What color primer and paint was used?
