I have a 52 but it has a bubba installed 62 transfer case. Wod love to see pictures of the mountings of the two types. Also, if anyone has pics of a 52 with a properly installed two speed case.
Thanks much!

Re: Pics showing 62 VS 52 transfer case mounting
Hi Lew,
I have a WC 62 transfer case and mounting brackets sitting on the floor of my garage, I can take pictures of that if it helps, and pictures of the single speed transfer case installed in my WC53.
Its worth noting that the WC 62 mount bracket bolts are 7/16" and the WC51,52, 53 etc are 3/8". I simply drilled the holes in the chassis to 7/16" and drilled the single speed brackets to 7/16" to accomodate the larger bolts.
The parking brake (on the 2 speed transfer case) should mount on the transfer case, NOT the gerabox. I believe there is sufficient clearance on the WC51/52 to accomodate this.
Cheers
Ian

Pics would be wonderful! I pulled the two speed. Some ugly homemade brackets and a goofy plate welded to the crossmember. I'd consider putting it back in if it can be done well and at least motorpool looking.

the crossmember between tranny and tcase for the two speed trucks has two small holes in it to bolt the ebrake cable to. the holes may already be there on the 52 depends I think on when it was made. if not easy to drill them

I don't own that one anymore. if you have the manuals TM9-1808A and B you can find pics of everything
