Headlight adjustment?

Headlight adjustment?
I could not find the procedure in the TM,s; Am I correct in assuming I just need to simply loosen the rusty, frozen, petrified nut, under the fender?

I believe so but not sure. I've never had to do it on the ordinary headlight.

Yes, on the half-tons it's the center bolt. Once loosened...if that's possible, it will/should allow the headlight bucket to rotate. 3/4 tons should be similar.

yes thats how. soak it good with penetrating spray. I have never had one that didnt come loose. I think I had to heat a couple tho.

FYI: For the 3/4 ton, there are several pages of information pertaining to aiming service headlights. Its on page Electrical-06-42 & 43 of the TM 10-1531 (Sept 1st 1942) and on pages 299 thru 301 in TM-9808 (May 12th 1943).
