Dodge WC51 Seat Hold Down Lock
Does anyone have a photo(s) of the seat hold down lock? I have been unable to find photos of it in any of my reference books or even in the manual.
Thanks
Thanks

Yes, that's the piece.
How is it attached? Is it on a hinge?
Are you able to post more close up photos?
Thanks
Mike

There are no hinges. The movement is catered for by flexing of the thin spring steel plates that are riveted to each end of the cross bar and bolted to the seat riser with the twin bolt arrangement.

Ahh, I see...makes sense, acts as a hinge and keeps the locks engaged in the seat...

How much do you want for it? And how much for shipping to Blaine WA?

I was thinking $15. Shipping costs I have no idea. I'd have to pack it up and get a quote from some sort of shipping service.

No problem. Let me get it packed up, and then I should be able to get a shipping quote from USPS early next week. It's not too heavy, just an odd size for packing.

If it's easier, can you grind off the rivets holding the handle on and I can reattach it later?

Now all you have to due is find the US Army padlock with key and chain so you can lock the lever in place.

I think I'll settle for a master lock from Home Depot instead
