Chassis numbers

Where can l find out where my 1941 Dodge Luxury Liner was built and the exact date. I found the exact date and time for my WC51 but not for the car.

21 December 1942 Dodge WC51 (US Navy South Pacific)
'Spirit of USS Arizona'

The chassis number would give you the plant it was made in ( I think ). Engine code and number would approximate to year at least.

If you dig around enough, you can probably find it on here:

I have seen similar pages for cars just don't have my files here with me.

There is a chassis number listing book, just don't have it here. Some of the pages are on those sites, but I only see the truck ones. In the unlikely event you have the original engine in it, post the number here. I think a 1941 Dodge would be a D11-xxxxx, or maybe a D12
