As Gordon said, nothing that couldn't be copied or bolted on. With-out impecable providence I would have to say no.

it also wouldn't be that hard to figure out with access to which vehicles were issued to him. Generals probably have a designation as a type of segment in the military? I have seen other do that on this forum with hood numbers.

Not sure how it worked in WWII but we (Army) today assign General Officer vehicles to their drivers.

They will have a distinctive bumper number with the "6" designation indicating a commander. The passenger side windshield will usually be marked with their call sign such as "Marne Six" "Eagle Six" " All American Six"

and normally have a greater complement of communications on board
