Wanted Dodge Ring/Crown & Pinion

Post by Lang »

Wanted 4.3:1 ring/crown and pinion to gear up a WC12.

These bolt straight up to the original differential carrier. 10 and 43 teeth with 3/8" bolt holes

They were on several late 40/50 light Dodge/Fargo trucks such as FK1 and DE1 plus several others. Will take one or two if available.

Preferably in Australia but beggars can not be choosers.

Thanks John

I bought a standard set from you a year or so ago but I want to increase the gearing.

Hi Lang,
may be a better idea to go to larger wheels?

Cheers

I think I have one set. Its a complete rear axle at the moment from a (aprox) 1950 dodge 1 ton pickup. The truck was scrapped out for a broken frame but if I recall that was the gear ratio when I checked it.
Are you looking for the entire pumpkin section or just the ring and pinion gears themselves. I can't imagine what it would cost to ship it to Australia however, let alone where you will get another set for the other end of the truck.
If you want to consider it, I'll go check the axle to make sure that is the gear ratio.
I'm in eastern Washington state, near Spokane.
