I finally got my air compressor installed , and now I'm considering
a sand blaster , really have no idea what to look for , want one that
will do a good job on a frame , wheels , ect. , not sure of the CFPM
output of what I have , going to talk with a tech. at Curtis sometime
next week . Looking for suggestions of what to look for , without
breaking the bank . A couple pictures below of the compressor .

Re: Sand Blaster Recommendations ?
Any of the small two-wheel-and-a-leg variety pots will work with that. any bigger units, with more than a 3/4" supply hose, would need a bigger compressor. Build a decent small bay you can shovel out and recycle the media - I use mineral grit.
If you were doing a whole truck it would still be cheaper to trailer the bits to the local professional outfit, but that unit would be fine for doing one wheel, or one panel, or a bunch of small bits.

Re: Sand Blaster Recommendations ?
I bought a cabinet one from the local auto and tool supply. I modified it with internal lighting and added a port to attach a vacuum hose to a shop vac which is outside. this keeps the shop clean and pumps all the dust outside and keeps the cabinet clear so you can see what you are doing. I also added a roller base so I could move it around easily. its works great for parts up to 2' long X 1' wide. Anything bigger I take to the local blasting yard. The whole setup cost me about $250 Canadian dollars.

Re: Sand Blaster Recommendations ?
Thanks guys , I do have a floor model blast cabinet , just was wondering about
different brands of a pot type of sandblaster good vs. bad , or are they all basically
the same ? not doing body panels , just the frame and running gear .
