I have some information I'd like to share for the database.

WC-4
Serial Number: 8668603
Body Number: 4190-11078
Registration Number: USA W-219465
Engine Serial Number: 6I UTAH

The engine is a T-207 but not original to the vehicle, unfortunately. I don't know if its a wartime replacement or done post war. I don't have the nomenclature plate as it was missing from the glove box door so I don't know an exact DoD. I hope the previous owner can locate it. Vehicle is now located in Omaha, Nebraska.

I finely got started on restoring my truck. It came from Washington State 2 years ago. No bed. I have found 2 beds well pieces of beds, good enough for template. It will be a total frame off restoration.
WC-12
Serial Number: 8681083
Body Number: 4162-7425
Registration Number: USA W-226268
Engine Serial Number: P15*507632* what I have found it this is a later engine with a later transmission (civil)

We did some forensic paint removable. First color ; lite od green guessing zinc primer, second color ; dark od green with painted white star on the door and blue letters and numbers on the hood. Third color: red painting over all numbers and star, fourth color was dark od green.

Any info you can help me with would be appreciated.

Just recovered a Carryall but there is one number in the SN I can't make out and the body tags have all be removed already. Glove box is gone. The hood Reg numbers are very legible though. However there is another WC53 on this list that has me concerned because the numbers are very close but not the same, slightly transposed. I wish I could find out who owns it or where it is to make sure its not this one... But I honestly don't think it is and think its a weird coincidence.

I can for sure Make out 8 1 5 7 6 _ 5 8 And hood numbers are 20165691

What is concerning is there is an 81576558 already on here and the Reg is 20165961 which are the 6 and the 9 transposed. I can't make out the number but it "looks" like a 3. I am going to wager that it is a 3... however I may take my time on this and grind and try to "etc" the numbers that I can't 100% tell what they are.

The chrysler wouldn't be as so kind to tell me that my SN is in fact a WC53 before I go through the process of getting a title. I'd hate to get the title and be off one number and then the build card comes back for the wrong vehicle.

This year I have seen one Dodge WC55, Chassis Number 815 303 10, engine number T214 6154, Body Tag 4290 - 2621.

This Dodge was bought by the Fire Fighting Team of Lohnsburgshortly after the War in Austria (1948) direct from the Army. It is still licensed and running fine - they do not have a build card yet, hope i can convince them to get one. Pictures may follow if wanted.

Best regards,
Heinz.
