WC54 Interior Panels
Does anyone have a source for the material used for the interior panels of the Dodge WC54 Ambulance? Mine are really bad. Thanks in advance. Paul

The masonite material that was originally used is no longer available anywhere in that size. It has to be pieced together now. We searched all over the US and Canada for a manufacturer that makes this in the size it needs to be for a one piece install when we did the WC9 and it does not exist.

G,Day all . The masonite i used on my wc54 was long enough 2.65 m ,but sadly was only 1.2 meter,s wide . As the height of the wall,s is only about 1.4 m i was .2 {8 inches } of a meter short at the bottom . As the join is behind the benches and no one can see it , it is not a problem . So if you can source a piece of masonite 4 feet x the length that you need, you will not have a problem. Ray

If you could find oner good set, you could use them to make fiberglass replicas. We did this for formica counter tops. If you get the colors right you can NOT tell its not original. And it lasts longer than the truck.. Lighter. Doesn't rot..
