I'll try to get by where the truck is stored and see what is on my WC63.

Cable Nut

Post by Gordon_M »

It is a four part CABLE NUT, made by Gar Wood in a variety of sizes. A similar item is still available but only has one threaded end.

Dodges used 3/8" ( early ) and 7'16" ( late ) winch cable. I think the standard cable nut was for 3/8" but would fit both cable sizes, I was certainly able to fit the 3/8" marked nut on the 7/16" cable on the T-36 winch.
