WC51 parts truck

Post by FrankUSMC »

Selling the remains of a WC51 truck. Mainly a rolling chassis with just the dash, and cowling remaining, scrape thieves got the rest of the body. $300 or best offer, and the truck is in Newport, NC.

Yes Dave a couple of pictures might identify a few parts.

This may sound a little daft,....but looking for some screws that hold the id/tech. plates, and I am really looking for a couple of screws of the original flat head slot screws for the leather draft cover on the transmission housing.
Maybe some other small parts if I see what you have.

,...told you it was kind of "draft",...daft\

My garage: Restored Old Henry, and have had this WC51 on the road around 3 years now... Currently finishing a brace of Ben Hur trailers, and starting a 67 Galaxie fastback. Concurrent with the WC I restored a 74 TR6... Oh the joys.

Scott,
Yes I've tried to go through McMaster-Carr but shipping outside the US, (to Canada) was something they weren't interested in dong at all !
I thought it a bit strange,...but maybe they have changed their policy. Locally I have been hard pressed to get a supplier for exact stuff so that was the reason I asked for anyone with these screws, etc. As you know some of the Dodge hardware is so unique that you would be hard pressed to even get stuff close, (I am thinking of fender bolts and "washers" for example). In this situation I am building up with weld on bolts and re threading. Time consuming but not many to fix like this, thank goodness.

I sent you a PM back in June offering to send you a set of the screws & lockwashers (the flatwashers you can source locally, I'm sure) but have never heard back from you...
