Ohio Brass mounting bracket

Post by Jeepgirl1970 »

Hi all,
I´m searching for a mounting bracket for the Ohio Brass MP 48 for a Command Car. I have a place in the US where to send it to... so no worry about that....
Is there anyone out there who has one for sale?

Thanks
Marion

Marion,
1st option, make it & 2nd option would be Midwest Military.

In the MPVA Supply Line magazine I saw two suppliers listed for a M48 pintle.

The part you want is an MP-50 antenna mount. You can pick them up easily enough in Europe. Staman in Netherland has repros for 25 Euros or if you search on Ebay you should be able to find an original for around 30 Euros

G,Day Marion . The mp50 bracket is used on the wc51/2 Wc,s and Jeep . The wc command car bracket is different than the mp50 . .Very simillar to a wc53 bracket . I think that it would not be very difficult to make your own . I used 4 x3/16 steel to make my own wc53 bracket ,with 1in x3/16 bar as bracing . Some one will have the proper dimensions for you .I am sure . Ray

I had to make mine. 40 bucks seems fair to me.

Whoops! My mistake  didn't read the original post properly.....however Jeepest in France have repros for 39 euros. I used to buy all my parts from the US but now with shipping and import taxes so high I try to source as much as I can in Europe.
